Currently, there is
no filter by session for the downloads in ConfTool.
Most events have quite a lot of sessions, so filtering them to export files session by session would probably be rather inefficient.
However, the
Generated Filename option can help you to get a list of all downloads listed by session name or ID.
Step 1: Configure the generated file namesPlease go to:
Overview => Settings => Main Settings for Abstract and Paper SubmissionIn the section
Defaults for Uploads and Downloads, adjust the
Compose Format of Generated Filenames.
For instance, you can select the following pattern:
- Session Location / Venue
- Session Short Title
- Position in Session
- Paper Title
This ensures that the session information becomes part of the file name (see image 1).
You can update the generated file name at any time. Please refer to the note at the end of the section for more information.
Step 2: Open the list of submissionsPlease go to:
Overview => Manage Submissions and Reviews => List of SubmissionsSelect the submission you want to download, for example by filtering for accepted papers and the final submission version (see image 2).
Step 3: Download all filesHover over
Related Functions and select
Save All Files as ZIP Using the Current Filter (see image 3).
You will receive
one ZIP file containing all PDFs.
Important noteAfter completing the download, you can change the generated filename format back to its previous setting at any time. The generated filename format is also used in other areas, for example for links in the conference agenda.
