Topic: Authors do not receive an e-mail after a review was entered  (Read 63153 times)

I enabled the feature to send an e-mail notification to the corresponding authors if a new review is entered.

However, they do not receive any messages. Why?

  • Please check the e-mail settings again. The option “Want to send an e-mail to the authors of the reviewed contribution?” has to be set to “Yes”.
    Overview => Settings => E-mail Settings
  • Authors will only receive a message if the review results are already visible to the authors, otherwise this message would be confusing (“I got an e-mail about a new review but cannot see any review…”).
