Researchers repeatedly encounter questions while working with research data that they themselves describe as “ethically and legally challenging.” The expert group ELSA4Memory from the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) consortium dedicated to history and historically oriented fields gives answers by picking up "real live" legal and ethical questions from digital (research) projects. The poster presents their work and interacts with participants to start the discussion on how ethical and legal guidelines can best reach a majority of academia.
