Topic: Two-phase review process: submissions listed twice in confirmation letters  (Read 59996 times)

Our conference has a two-phase review process. Abstracts were peer reviewed and accepted abstracts were copied / converted to a full paper submission type in ConfTool.
We also created two acceptance statuses “Abstract Accepted” and “Full Paper Accepted”.

However, the letter of invitation and the confirmation letter for participants currently also include accepted abstracts, too.
How can we remove the accepted abstract titles from these letters and show only the accepted full papers here?

In order to remove the specified accepted submissions from the letters of invitation, please first go to the acceptance status that has been used for these submissions (e.g. for contribution type: “Abstract” – acceptance status: “Accepted – Abstract”).
Overview => Settings => Manage Acceptance Status

Click on “Edit” to open the status. Change the setting for the option “Will contribution be presented?” to “No” (screenshot 1).

You can check in the list of contributions that will be presented if the changes have been successful:
Overview => Submissions & Reviews => Results of the Reviewing Procedure & Decision About Acceptance
Set the “Acceptance Status” filter to “All contributions that will be presented” to have the list of presentations displayed (screenshot 2).

NB: You will have to update the list of presenters by calling up the "Check User Status" control function:
Overview => User and Participant Management => Check User Status
With this process function, all user statuses are checked and the presenters are updated to include only those with full paper presentations.
