Conference Agenda

This intensive 3-hour masterclass is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of orthognathic planning using IPS CaseDesigner® software. The course will cover essential topics, starting with an introduction to 3D workflow and the 3D virtual scene approach. Participants will learn the protocols for scanning and capturing accurate 3D images, dental scans and photos, selecting and importing patient data, and achieving the patient’s natural head position in 3D models.
The comprehensive session will deep-dive into 3D virtual diagnosis and treatment planning, offering insights into cephalometric and customized measurements, setting the mandibular nerve, as well as planning and executing osteotomies in a virtual environment.
In the segment on 3D virtual surgical planning, attendees will discover how to plan bony movements while the soft tissue simulation changes. The course will conclude with the transfer of the 3D virtual treatment plan into the operating room, covering the creation and export of surgical splints and the generation of detailed reports for surgical use.
By the end of this masterclass, participants will be equipped with the skills to effectively utilize 3D technology for orthognathic planning, providing precision and outcomes in surgical procedures.
