How Goal Setting and Analytics Based Design Lead to Project Success
Chair(s): Matthew Coulter (WSP), James Stieg (WSP)
Presenter(s): Matthew Coulter (WSP), Byron Zick (Davis Partnership), Ralph Kasper (GH Phipps)
Learn how early goal alignment by the project team was central to targeting and achieving project performance requirements. The panel consists of project design team members and the general contractor from the Anythink Nature Library project, a 33,000-sf library and nature center under construction in north Denver suburb of Thornton, CO. The project is an all-electric building pursuing LEED Gold and low net energy consumption. The panel will discuss how goal-setting and priority sharing opened the design team up for integrated design exploration and the processes and digital tools that led to the design of this unique project.
