The world is moving toward tokenized payments, with growing institutional adoption driven by increasing legal clarity. While blockchain-based payments offer speed and efficiency, they also raise concerns around financial stability, including risks of capital flight and reduced oversight in peer-to-peer models. This session explores how these challenges can be addressed. It presents how Centiglobe enables direct cross-border payments between regulated banks and payment institutions through a collaborative payment network powered by network-based tokenized deposits. This approach allows institutions to capture the benefits of tokenization while operating within existing regulatory frameworks, supporting G20 objectives on speed, cost, and transparency.
