In order to use the ConfTool system, you will create a user account with your personal details. Your user data, your actions and the results of your actions will be stored within the system. Information stored in the ConfTool system will exclusively be used in relation to this event. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the organization of the event, for billing purposes or for legal reasons (e. g. in the case of an external audit), but it will not be distributed or sold to other parties for other purposes.

In the course of organizing this event, the data you disclose (in particular name, electronic contact details, address, employer or affiliation, billing and bank details, title and abstract of the presentation/paper/lecture, name/electronic contact details/affiliation/employer of co-authors, date and place of the event, food intolerances) will be processed by the IHS for the purpose of the event. Data gathered in relation to this event, particularly with regards to third-party services (such as hotel bookings), will only be passed on to the extent necessary for the performance of the service.

If you submit a paper, you, as the submitting author, declare that you have obtained the permission from all other co-authors to submit on their behalf and provide the corresponding data (in particular name, electronic contact details, affiliation or employer of co-authors).

As far as it is necessary for the program preparation and promotion of the event, data (in particular names of presenters, discussants and co-authors, title of the lecture or the submitted abstract/paper, date and time) will be published (e.g. on our website).

In case your paper and/or poster is accepted, you agree that the following data is made available public in the conference program: author(s), discussant(s), affiliation(s), title and abstract of your presented paper/poster, date and time.

Your electronic contact details will be used to inform you about a subsequent event or an event on a similar subject
