Talk about how custom Apache Jmeter tasks can be created to load test distributed systems like LDAP. This talk will focus on load testing procedures using OpenLDAP as intermediaries and will include an overview of what load testing is and why it's necessary. We'll touch on a couple of approaches, using either the Apache LDAP API or Bash scripts to generate LDAPv3 traffic. We'll include a couple of demos to provide a practical model for running experiments. There are a few projects in the public domain that will drive the testing and can be a starting point if you're just getting started.
