Apache Directory has been around since 2006 (and even before, but that was the first officiale release).

The project is known for Apache Directory Studio, probably the most used LDAP browser for years, but also for a few more important projects:

- Apache LDAP API

- Apache Directory Server

- Apache Mavibot

- Apache Fortress

- Apache Scimple

- Apache Kerby

In the past 5 years, there were some progress, fast and slow. This presentation is about the good, the bad and the ugly in Apache Directory!
