In this lecture, Dr. Tuck will share what she and her collaborators have learned, thus far, in their creation of a new digital garden to support the growth of Collaborative Indigenous Research theory and practice. Meant to support community and university-affiliated researchers alike, the digital garden is a way to cultivate inspiration and connection for a field that is often under-resourced in university settings. More, it works against the frequent request for one universal model for working meaningfully and ethically with Indigenous communities, instead emphasizing the place-based specificities that shape collaborative Indigenous research.
